About

A small studio with a long memory.

Hudson Homeworks was founded on a simple idea: most furniture worth owning is worth keeping, and most furniture worth keeping deserves to be cared for by hand.

We work out of a quiet shop on Kenesaw Avenue in Knoxville, on a deliberately small number of projects at a time. Restoration, upholstery, and the occasional commission piece — each one finished personally before it leaves.

We believe in patient work, honest materials, and the kind of detail you don't notice at first — only over the years, as the piece holds up.

Principle 01

Material Honesty

Hardwood, real fabric, traditional joinery. We don't hide what a piece is made of.

Principle 02

Patient Hands

We take on a small number of projects at once so each one gets the time it needs.

Principle 03

Built to Outlast

Pieces meant to be passed down, not replaced in five years.

We'd be glad to hear about your piece.
